I have election fever. So does John McCain. Maybe he should take an anti-inflammatory. Get it? Whenever I tag something with "get it," you can rest assured there's nothing to get. I wish I could rest assured, or at least take a poised nap.
I am voting for Obama for President. There. I said it. Or wrote it. Deal with it. Deal with it, or no deal with it. I am confident this election will go my way. Trust me. I've never been right. I just hope there is no October surprise. That would be terrible. I hate October surprises. On the other hand, I love Oktoberfest. Who knows how to party better than the Germans, besides everybody?
By the time you read this, I will have already appeared at Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis. Get in your time machine, and check it out.
Don't forget to rock the vote. However, under no circumstances, should you rock the boat. Or tip the boat over.
That is all for now. If there was more, I would add it here.
Love,
Andy Kindler
Hey, Andy.
I wonder if you remember me. We spent a short time together a long time ago when I was a senior at Barnard. As was the custom in Morningside Heights during the late '80's, your parents' car stereo was forcibly removed from their vehicle outside of Riverside Church early one Sunday morning.
I caught your brilliant performance on Lewis Black's show. So I thought I would reach out to you here, in a forum that only Al Gore could have conceived of two decades ago, to tell you that I am really happy for your success. The hallucinogenic haze of my undergraduate years has long since lifted, or mostly anyway, and I still remember you.

If anyone has any information about the whereabouts about my stolen car stereo, there is a reward involved. It's not just the stereo. I lost my favorite Bananarama cassette.

There were too many "abouts" in that last post. I apologize to all grammarians. Is that a word?

Take my advice and don't hit the post button twice.

Why would you mention you like Bananarama and then apologise about "about"? That's straining the gnat and swallowing the camel.....

You were fantastic on Letterman covering the Republican convention. Maybe you could use this blog to let us know about these things BEFORE they happen.

Saw and loved your show at ACME. You were nice enough to chat with us afterwards during dinner, when by brother and I noticed what, at first, looked like a cell phone from the 70s you had with you. It turned out be a state-of-the-art voice recorder with "very high frequency". Will try to catch you again when you come back to Mpls!

JP, that is a good point about about. From now on I will also remember to strain the gnat AND the camel.
Kurt, I will have the last laugh when my time machine goes into production.
Thank you Song. I appreciate the kind words. And thanks for noticing my state of the art voice recorder. I traded in my cell phone from the 70's to get it.

Undecided voter piece on letterman was hysterical. You are a funny, funny person.
