Lets face it. This communicating via words in written form with sentences and everything is just not working out as I planned. Plus it doesn't pay anything. I get nothing for this. Do you see any banner ads on this website? In fact this whole website thing is not all it's cracked up to be. I haven't made a dime on it. I actually have to pay to keep this charade chugging along. I don't know what I would do if I got any real traffic. Or hits. Or whatever they call it. I might have to get a server or a hostess or an external fire wire hard drive thingy. I don't even know what I'm talking about.
But enough complaining. For now. I will complain again real soon. All you need to know is that I am still in the "business," whatever that word means. Also I will be appearing at Comix Comedy Club in New York City this Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12. I probably shouldn't have capitalized the words comedy and club in that last sentence. See how annoying this process is? Now I'm back to complaining.
In May I will be embarking (who still uses that word?) on a big time comedy tour called Stand Uppity with comedians Eugene Mirman and Marc Maron. We even have a sponsor. 23/6. Eat your heart out.
That's all for now. Boy was this fun. I'm so glad I was able to "touch base."
Love,
Andy Kindler
Yeah! You were great at Lakeshore last time -- can't wait to see you again on the Stand Uppity Tour!
Do all comedy clubs play 80s top 40 music, or is that just in Chicago? I always feel like I've walked into a carnival exhibit, or something. Expect everybody on stage to have big hair and rant about Reaganomics.
But you don't. He doesn't! It's gonna be great! We're going to Montreal too!

Your show in Chicago was great! When is www.fandykindler.com coming online, for all the internet fans to meet in one place?

I missed your New York show! Is it on YouTube yet?

My New York shows were cancelled because I had my appendix removed. Luckily my funny bone remains intact, this email notwithstanding.
Schticky: All the music played in comedy venues is ironic. Or sarcastic.
Windy City Bob: If I had the twelve dollars I would buy the domain name fandykindler.com
Justin: Go Mets!

Well, I must say you are definately more depressing than Frank Caliendo- he likes to keep in touch, with a fancy schmancey full color newsletter where he is either John Madden or Gearge W. Bush, you on the other hand are just wearing a beanie and look like you are about to end it all by jumping into the East river- but it is a dreary day isn't?
When ever I see that header pick I get a strange visual of Simon & Garfunkel singing Alanis Morisette songs. Erie- but perhaps you are at Lake Erie? Then all of this makes sense.
I have never seen you live, but what I have seen has made me smile profusely! (the term "live" means in person- when I saw you on TV you appreaed to be living...)
